Between The Teeth is a 1993 live concert film and documentary capturing David Byrne’s Uh-Oh tour. Directed by Byrne and David Wild, the 70-minute film features the former Talking Heads frontman performing solo tracks and fan-favorite band classics alongside a vibrant, globally sourced brass section.

Recorded on October 31, 1992, at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, the show leans heavily into Latin, worldbeat, and jazz influences. Backed by his 10-piece backing band "Ten Car Pile-Up," Byrne's dynamic and wildly energetic stage presence is front and center.

The set seamlessly blends his 1990s solo material with beloved Talking Heads tracks: Life During Wartime, (Nothing But) Flowers, and Road to Nowhere. Solo Favorites: Mr. Jones and Girls on My Mind.

The film remains somewhat of a cult rarity. Originally released on VHS and Laserdisc in 1993/1994, it has never received a commercial DVD or wide streaming release, making it highly sought after by fans. It features a mix of high-energy stage edits and close-up, sometimes intensely tight shots of Byrne's sweat-beaded face.
