A sofa can be transformed into an "environment within the environment". This thought inspired Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec to design the Alcove Sofa. With the soft padding of the seat and back and the flexible side and back panels, Alcove Sofa is a refuge in which to melt tensions, a frame of comfort and intimacy. This sofa is part of the Alcove collection, which includes not only highback sofas in various models, but also lounge armchairs, ideal for relaxing in a living room or reading space.

Designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec Formal perfection, clear lines and creative freedom - these is Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec's magic formula. Born respectively in 1971 and 1976, they both graduated in Art and founded their own studio at the end of the 90s. Unity makes strenght - their Cuisine Déstructurée caught Giulio Cappellini's eye, so they received the first industrial design commissions and went on to impose themselves on the international scene thanks to a collaboration with Vitra. Bouroullec brothers work for some of the most important international design brands, such as Ligne Roset, Flos, Magis and Mattiazzi and are able to join essential shapes with innovative materials and environmentally friendly manufacturing - this allowed them to win, among other prizes, the prestigious Wallpaper* Design Award 2016 in the category "Best Designers of the Year".

The sofa is in good condition
