The included polishing pads (also called polishing discs or buffing pads) feature beveled edges, allowing you to work more easily in hard-to-reach areas and preventing the backing plate or machine from touching the surface. In addition, the hexagon pattern ensures even distribution of polishing compound and efficient heat dissipation. The pads are conveniently color-coded by function, so you always pick the right pad for the job:

• Green: Heavy cutting (coarse). For heavy-duty correction. Removes deep scratches, oxidation and sanding marks.
• Orange: Medium cutting. Ideal for correcting light scratches, swirls and dull areas.
• Yellow: Light cutting. Refreshes lightly weathered paint or removes mild wax residue and haze.
• Blue: Polishing (gloss enhancement). Restores gloss after correction and prepares the surface for wax or sealant.
• Red: Finishing. Delivers a smooth, clean finish with a high-gloss result.
