Astra and her robot friend Pilbeam are the only things standing in the way of the ship's destruction

A hilarious space adventure packed with mystery, aliens, and unexpected cake-based chaos, this action-filled story follows Astra and her friends as they uncover trouble aboard a spaceship on an extraordinary journey through the stars. While the rest of her family sleep soundly in their pods, Astra is wide awake. Curious and restless, she decides to explore the ship with her loyal friend, Pilbeam. What begins as a simple adventure soon turns into something far more exciting when they discover that the ship has been knocked off course. Things become even stranger when a gang of Poglites - an eccentric alien salvage crew with an unusual passion for collecting spoons - boards the vessel. But the Poglites' search is interrupted when they stumble upon a far greater threat lurking within the ship's canteen. The danger may look harmless at first glance, but appearances can be deceiving. As Astra, Pilbeam, and their new alien companions face a growing menace, they'll need courage, quick thinking, and teamwork to save the ship before the situation spirals out of control.
