  •      Christopher Dennis Alexander Martin-Jenkins (1945–2013), also known as CMJ, was a British cricket journalist and a President of MCC. He was also the longest serving commentator for Test Match Special (TMS) on BBC Radio, from 1973 until diagnosed with terminal cancer in March 2012.
  •      Pat Gibson (1942-2023) was a British Sports journalist who reported for The Times and became the longest-serving chairman of the Cricket Writers' Club. He was a passionate cricket writer.
