De showroom wordt alsmaar mooier . Hij wordt opgefleurd door weer een Austin Healey Sprite, de so called Frogeye. Deze kikker komt uit 1959 en is in 97 naar Nederland gekomen. De Frogeye is uitgevoerd in Bordeaux rood, bijzonder sjiek. De auto is volledig gerestaureerd en is nog steeds in uitstekende staat, werkelijk beeldschoon. Het is een zeer goed onderhouden klassieker , alles is gemaakt naar fabrieks specificaties, origineel zoals het hoort. Het lakwerk van deze Sprite is beeldschoon , ongelooflijk glanzende lak en zeer strakke naden. Geen puntje roest en geen deukje is er te vinden op deze Frogeye. De auto is uitgerust met de originele 948 motor die destijds volledig is gereviseerd. De versnellingsbak is destijds ook gereviseerd en functioneert perfect, geen gekraak, soepel zoals af fabriek. Er zijn 2 SU carburateurs gemonteerd die in perfecte staat zijn. Het interieur is zo origineel mogelijk gehouden, alles is zoals af fabriek geleverd, een nieuwe rode tapijtset, met rood vinyl bekleed dashboard. De auto heeft zwarte vinyl sidescreens, in zeer nette staat. De stoelen en trimpanelen zijn uitgerust in rood vinyl met witte piping. Het originele stuur is een zeldzaamheid op zich, prachtig. De auto is zeer goed onderhouden en technisch in zeer goede staat, wederom een turnkey exemplaar. De auto staat op originele stalen velgen, met de chromen wieldoppen met AH-logo, tegenwoordig zeldzaam. De auto heeft een zwart vinyl softtop en zwarte full tonneaucover. De rollbar is geschroefd en kan dus indien gewenst gemakkelijk verwijderd worden. Exportpapieren, om registratie in een ander land gemakkelijk te maken, zijn altijd bij onze prijs inbegrepen. The showroom is getting more and more beautiful. It is brightened up by yet another Austin Healey Sprite, the so-called Frogeye. This frog dates from 1959 and came to the Netherlands in 1997. The Frogeye is finished in Bordeaux red, particularly chic. The car has been fully restored and is still in excellent condition, truly stunning. It is a very well-maintained classic; everything has been made to factory specifications, original as it should be. The paintwork on this Sprite is beautiful, with incredibly glossy paint and very tight seams. Not a speck of rust or a single dent can be found on this Frogeye. The car is equipped with the original 948 engine, which was completely overhauled at the time. The gearbox was also overhauled back then and functions perfectly; no grinding, smooth just like from the factory. Two SU carburetors have been fitted and are in perfect condition. The interior has been kept as original as possible; everything is as delivered from the factory, a new red carpet set, and a dashboard covered in red vinyl. The car has black vinyl sidescreens, in very neat condition. The car has a black vinyl softtop and a black tonneacover to cover the cockpit. The seats and trim panels are finished in red vinyl with white piping. The original steering wheel is a rarity in itself, beautiful. The car is very well maintained and in excellent technical condition; once again, a turnkey example. The car sits on original steel rims, with the chrome hubcaps featuring the AH logo, which are rare nowadays. The roll bar is bolted on and can therefore be easily removed if desired. Export papers, to facilitate registration in another country, are always included in our price. We can arrange transport at a fair rate.
