My latest acrylic ode to the glorious, golden countryside captures the fleeting magic of light on those iconic stacks, hopefully making you want to grab a picnic basket and a straw hat.
Now, for the "behind-the-easel" scoop: in the middle of making this impressionist light dance on these haystacks, my easel, bless its wobbly heart, also decided to do an impromptu dance number, almost sending my vibrant cadmium yellows straight into a patch of rather unimpressed nettles. A true test of artistic agility! This unique piece, infused with the spirit of sunny fields was saved though.

Now, this luminous slice of pure, unadulterated summer joy, imbued with a dash of real-life painting drama is looking for its forever home.
