This piece pays tribute to one of the most revolutionary artists in modern history: Pablo Picasso. His eyes, his hand under the chin, his intense gaze—every element in this stencil was designed to echo the inner fire of a man who redefined the art world.
Executed with my signature double-layer stencil technique, this portrait captures the tension between discipline and chaos—just like Picasso’s own creative process. The textured background in a mix of blue shades suggests the vastness of his influence and the emotional depth of his work.
This is my third reinterpretation of Picasso in stencil form, part of an ongoing exploration of iconic figures who shaped the visual language of our time.

I'm Alexandre Petrus (AP), a French street and stencil artist based in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. My creations blend digital drawing, manual stencil cutting, and the expressive freedom of street art. Every piece I produce is a unique original – no prints or editions. Each stencil is cut by hand and reused on constantly evolving backgrounds.
My artistic practice builds bridges between past and present, precision and instinct, pop culture and classical icons.
