Rare Disney Fantasia Plush – Madame Upanova (ballerina ostrich) – Euro Disney – 1990s – 18.9" / 48 cm (with bow).

Step into the magical world of Fantasia with this large collectible plush of Madame Upanova, the elegant ballerina ostrich from Walt Disney’s iconic Dance of the Hours sequence (1940).

This oversized plush (approx. 18.9" / 48 cm with bow, 17.3" / 44 cm without) was distributed by Euro Disney / Disneyland Paris in the 1990s. Like many licensed Disney products of the time, it was manufactured in South Korea (Made in Korea).

At that period, South Korea was a major hub for Disney plush and toy production, before manufacturing later shifted to China in the late 1990s.

Cette peluche de grande taille (env. 48 cm avec nœud, 44 cm sans nœud) a été distribuée par Euro Disney / Disneyland Paris dans les années 1990.

Comme beaucoup de produits Disney de cette époque, elle a été fabriquée en Corée du Sud (Made in Korea), la Corée étant alors un important centre de production de jouets et peluches sous licence Disney, avant que la fabrication ne soit déplacée en Chine à la fin des années 1990.
