The cabinet, the SONY, is also in absolute NEAR MINT NEW CONDITION.Sony manufactured this type of player from 1966 to 1971. This was the very first servo-controlled turntable. The player is equipped with a strobe and pitch control. Turntable set to 220 volts. The player is equipped with the original Sony-signed mat with anti-slip profile. The belt was replaced on October 19, 2023.Pitch control and strobe work perfectly.The TTS3000 uses a low-speed servo-controlled motor to drive the platter.The use of a low-speed motor (300 rpm) eliminates much of the noise and rumbling associated with mechanical speed reduction systems.This unique servo system effectively compares the motor speed with a highly stable frequency reference.Any error in the motor speed results in a correction of the current supplied to the motor.The speed reference is completely independent of external influences, and the line frequency is only used to power the strobe light.The 100-volt plug has been replaced with a 220-volt plug. You will receive an original Sony-branded plug (Japan) free of charge. Because this turntable is now set to 220 volts, it can be used throughout Europe without a converter.The 45 rpm setting needs to be adjusted, but I don't know how.It works, though.But it's too loud.
