1969 Marshall Superlead Plexi 100 (Jimi Hendrix connection?)

This 1969 Marshall Superlead was recently the most debated amplifier in the world. Originally marketed as one of the original Jimi Hendrix Marshall’s, in respons in regards to the amplifiers authenticity there is NO PROOF thus the amplifier is being sold at a greatly reduced pricing.

The amplifier is being sold with a no returns policy and NO PROOF about prior ownership use by Jimi Hendrix and has been priced as such.

The ultimate Jimi Hendrix collectors dream amplifier! Purple Haze, Voodoo Chile, Hey Joe, All Along The Watchtower, Foxy Lady. The amplifiers serial number is SL/10047 (March 1969). According to the Jimi Hendrix Archive Jimi Hendrix’s Marshall Superlead 100 from 1969 was serial number SLA/10047, which was never found back.

There are some modifications: the amplifier has been modified with 4 speaker outputs (original for using multiple 4x12 cabinets. "J.H. EXP" stencils on top and sides, "Handle With Care" stencil on top. Backplate is missing.

This particular amplifier was for 5 years on display in the British Music Experiences Museum at the Jimi Hendrix Section along with various other famous Jimi Hendrix guitars and belongings. It was featured in various published and major online media including Guitar Player, Guitar World and many others

Including: signed letter from Marshall Amplification confirmation amplifier was manufactured at Marshall factory in Bletchly, signed letter from Buddy Holly Foundation (loan to British Music Experiences Museum) and signed deposit agreement British Music Experience Museum.
