This Fender American Professional II Precision Bass guitar with maple fingerboard delivers instant familiarity and sonic versatility that bassists will feel and hear right away. This bass is crafted for professional musicians and discerning hobbyists alike.
New V-Mod II Pickups Provide Legendary Punch and Articulation

The American Pro II P Bass features newly designed V-Mod II Precision Bass split-coil pickups that deliver the punch and growl the P Bass is known for with enhanced articulation. The pickups are more articulate than ever while still providing a classic tone bassists crave.

A sculpted neck heel and satin "Super-Natural" neck finish make the American Pro II P Bass an unbelievably comfortable bass to play. The neck heel provides easy access to upper frets, while the neck finish feels smooth to the touch. 20 narrow tall frets also aid in comfort and playability.

A lightweight alder body and 4-saddle HiMass Vintage bridge provide a sturdy base for the articulation and tone provided by the pickups and electronics. The alder body builds a foundational vintage tone, while the bridge delivers solidity and sustain.

A '63 P Bass neck profile, bone nut and Fender lightweight vintage-style tuners with tapered shafts provide premium appointments on this professional-level instrument. Since 1951, the Fender Precision Bass has been refined to meet musicians' needs and the American Pro II P Bass raises the bar through cutting-edge design and construction techniques usually reserved for Fender Custom Shop instruments.
