Spring was een Britse progressieve rockband uit Leicester die de progressieve rockbeweging van begin jaren zeventig vertegenwoordigde. Het was een eenmalige band die in zijn carrière slechts één album opnam, een titelloze LP die in 1971 werd uitgebracht. De heruitgave van de cd bevat drie bonusstukken ("Fool's Gold", "Hendre Mews" en "A Word Full of Whispers") die afkomstig waren van sessies van een nooit voltooid tweede album uit 1972. De muziek van Spring valt op door het gebruik van de mellotron, waarbij drie van de vijf leden worden gecrediteerd voor het bespelen van dat instrument op het album.
