World Of Hurt is the massively successful debut of Dutch Country singer Ilse DeLange. Carried by its title track, and originally released in the summer of 1998, World Of Hurt eventually went 5 times Platinum in the Netherlands with over 100.000 copies sold.

The album was recorded in Nashville with some legendary studio musicians, like Jerry Douglas (dobro), Eddie Bayers (drums), Brent Rowan (guitar), Paul Franklin (pedal steel) and Vince Gill (backing vocals). It was produced by the equally legendary Barry Beckett, one of the original 'swampers', who co-founded the Muscle Shoals recording studio.

World Of Hurt is available on black vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
