They are called The Spice Girls of classical music. Bond consists of four sexy girls, who may have graduated from the conservatory but are not afraid to provide their classic-looking melodies with contemporary beats. In doing so, they do not opt ??for the standard housebeats, but look for it in the more complex rhythms of world music (eg Arabic music, tango). That makes Bond's music a lot easier to digest than the ordinary cover photo suggests. The musical background of the ladies cannot be denied and despite the feather-light character, the music retains a certain quality. In the bonus track the inevitable happens and the legendary film music of James Bond receives a (semi-successful) 'Bond' treatment.
