Muzyka is the second product from the collaboration between jazz singer Francien van Tuinen and guitarist Jesse van Ruller. Van Ruller arranged classical compositions by Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, Satie, Schumann, Shoatakovich and Scriabin into contemporary pieces, while Van Tuinen provided the textual filling. Classical themes were transformed into other musical styles such as jazz, folk, flamenco, fado and tango. The extremely sparse accompaniment of a double bassist, a reserve guitarist, two-man percussion and an accordionist makes this the ideal sound to enjoy in the chaises longues that are left over from the lounge area. Guitar and vocals intertwine as if in a frenetic game of love. Muzyka contains ideal spring music, reminiscent of frolicking, young life in the meadow, the first real rays of the sun and lots of butterflies in the sky.
