In the year that a majority of the House of Representatives ruled against the Neutron Bomb, four atomic nuclei come together in the East of Holland to cause a musical nuclear reaction that was felt in a wide area.
Inspired by icons such as Rory Gallaghe, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cream, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and with love for the blues, the quartet showcases their own vision of rock music on Dutch and German stages under the name Stepping Stone.

After an unfortunate break up in 1982 Stepping Stone seems to have played their last notes. Individually they conquered different musical challenges and all three continued to make passionate music in various successful bands. Shortly after the millennium the men breathe new life into Stepping Stone as a trio and te adventure starts all over again. With the same energy, eagerness and persistence with witch te band made a name for themselves even across borders, in theirearly years.
The brothers Bob [bass guitar] and Hans Meijer [drums] fronted by gitarist Dick Zuurveen climb the stage again, more experienced than ever.
