I have an American spec 2008 Honda Odyssey minivan with approximately 200,000 miles (vehicle number 5FNRL38698B006658; BE license plate 2FUY367). In May of 2025, the van experienced engine problems. I suspect something broke concerning the 'Eco Mode'; however, I did not take it to a mechanic as I have found mechanics here lack knowledge about US spec vehicles. Instead, I parked it in my driveway in Zaventem, BE, and bought another vehicle. At present, the van has not moved since May of 2025 and presently does not start. I suspect the battery is simply dead and, if jumped, might start. If it did start, likely the same 'check engine' lights would come on. You can find recent pictures of it attached. The interior is worn but otherwise what one would expect given the vehicle's age.
The van's CT expired on 16 August 2025. I cannot provide any buyer a valid CT and 'pink form'. As such, any Buyer must be a licensed dealer.
My terms for sale are simple:
1) Vehicle is sold 'as is' with the Buyer expressing acknowledging the vehicle does not start and previously experienced engine issues.
2) Vehicle is sold without a currently valid CT or 'pink form' and Buyer certifies being a dealer or trader eligible to purchase the vehicle without a valid CT or 'pink form' under Belgium law.
3) Buyer accepts vehicle at its present location and takes responsibility for removing the vehicle immediately upon the sale entirely at the Buyer's expense.
4) Any bill of sale be in English in addition to whatever language the Seller wants (French, Dutch, German, etc.), both texts being equally valid.
