Vintage McIntosh ma 6100 for sale, full revision done, all electrolytic capacitors replaced (big one in the power supply included). Volume potentiometer replaced with new (volume potentiometer is very problematic on these models (this is 3rd ma6100 that I have and all had issues with volume potentiometer), so you don’t need to worry about this anymore. Loudness and Presence function works as should. Power ON button moved to Remote speakers switch (originally in the volume potentiometer, new potentiometers do not have switch included anymore (especially one that can fit this amplifier). Remote speakers are now always connected, Main speakers switch works normally.
Back light improved, normally they don’t light like this one, original back light is pretty terrible.
Play very nice, nice mcintosh sound, warm and full of details. Ready to be your daily driver and not only a beautiful object in your living room.
