Gerrit Rietveld designed his last chair, the Steltman chair, for jeweller Steltman’s shop at the age of 75. With this design, he once again proved his status as a pioneering designer.
This chair is an exact remake made in massive wood, and each piece was professionally painted red before being built. The coloring and protective layer is thick, strong and perfectly even.
