Beschrijving
A wooden table inlaid with a dozen of 17th and 18th century, beautifully handpainted, Dutch Delft tiles.
The tiles exist out of a blue pattern or a blue purple, octagonal pattern.
The outer tiles all depict a landscape, while the 2 center tiles depict a religious scene.
Knowing the tiles are around 3 to 400 years old, they are in a decent to good antique condition. Some tiles are cracked or have slight to severe surface damage. Some are chipped on the sides. The chips, along with the seems were later filled using a cement-based grout.
The table weighs around 11 kg, has a width 54,5 cm, a height of 60,5 cm and a depth of 41,5 cm. Each tile measures around 12,5 cm in width and depth.
