Alan Fearnley zegt hierover :
"There are some paintings that just work well for no particular reason, and this is one of those from my own output. The concept is simple in the extreme. There is nothing of great note in the composition, no clever tricks of light or colour in the painting, and yet when clients or friends look through catalogues of my work, this is one of the pictures that always catches their eye. It invariably encourages them to make favourable comments. Perhaps it is the very simplicity which gives the picture it’s attraction. Or perhaps it is our old, long-departed retriever 'Shelley'. She appeared in several paintings and has always been well-received.
The Ferrari short wheelbase 250 Berlinetta is one of the most attractive of all Ferraris, and one of the last designs that could be used for both road and track."

About the Artist
Alan Fearnley was born in Yorkshire and studied at Batley College of Art. His work can be seen in the offices of Eddie Stobart Limited, Rolls Royce, Porsche and Mercedes-Benz to name but a few. His paintings feature in private collections worldwide.
