The large, ultra-thin format allows the artwork to occupy a significantly larger visual area than a conventional silver coin. The design presents Mickey Mouse through an Art Deco interpretation inspired by the geometric forms, clean lines and visual language of the 1920s — the same era in which Mickey made his debut in 1928. The standard edition combines Proof surfaces with vivid colour to create a striking modern interpretation of the classic Disney character. The reverse incorporates Mickey Mouse’s instantly recognizable silhouette together with the Public Seal of Niue, confirming its legal-tender status.Only 2,000 pieces exist worldwide, and every foil is individually numbered. Within the total mintage are just 200 special black-and-white Chase variants featuring alternative artwork and an engraved finish, representing only 10% of the entire issue. This is also the first release in a three-part Disney Art Deco Collection, making Mickey Mouse the opening character in the series. The collectible is supplied in officially licensed full-colour Disney presentation packaging featuring a Mark of Authenticity. Please Note:The photographs shown in this listing are marketing and presentation images. The buyer will receive the same official standard Proof / Color edition with the specifications described above. The individual serial number may differ from the number visible in the photographs. Minor natural variations in colour application, surface appearance, finishing or packaging condition may occur. This listing is for the standard coloured version and does not represent or guarantee the rare black-and-white Chase variant.Condition Note:The silver foil is supplied in its original Disney presentation packaging with Mark of Authenticity. The packaging may exhibit light scratches, scuffs, fingerprints, storage or handling marks, small dents, pressure marks, creases, bends, soft corners or other minor packaging-related imperfections.Due to the extremely thin silver foil format and reflective Proof surfaces, the collectible may exhibit microscopic hairlines, light contact or handling marks, small surface spots, natural toning, slight surface or edge variations, minor differences in colour application or other minting-, production-, storage- or handling-related characteristics.Such characteristics may become more visible under strong or directional lighting, at certain viewing angles or under magnification.Important:Each auction lot is processed and shipped individually. Combined shipping for multiple winning lots is not available. Every item is carefully packed separately to ensure maximum protection during transit and to comply with our shipping policy.Shipping:Fast dispatch within 24–36 hours after payment.
