It is an “all-tube” amplifier, 100W (2x 12" 50-watt 8-ohm (p/n 026428) original Fender speakers “wired in series”), with a switchable output between Low (25W) and Hi (100W)
Sizes: Height: 52,7 x Width: 67,0 x Deep: 29,2 cm.
Weighs about 35 kg (so pickup only - no shipping!). Ongeveer 35 Kg zwaar (dus alleen ophalen, géén verzending!). Pèse environ 35 kg (à retirer sur place uniquement, pas d'expédition !).
Version with black-and-white buttons
Effects: Tremelo and Reverb, Dual Channel switching (Normal and Drive), Effects Loop
Incl. 4-button switch pedal (Channel Switching, Effects Loop On/Off, Reverb On/Off, Tremolo On/Off)
Not a single scratch on it!
Additionally: it features a black strap handle and metal corner protectors, and the four Fender casters (or wheels) are mounted on the bottom; it has a Dark Gray Grill Cloth and is covered in Black Tolex, Snakeskin (the so-called Tolex/Tweed).
Please note: this is not a “Twin-amp” model or a “Twin Reverb” model!
Comes with an owner's manual and an electrical schematic diagram.
Oh, and the Fender manual also states the following: “Sound: Really Loud”!
For the experts: 4 x 6L6GC tubes (p/n 023556) for the power amplifier & 5 x 12AX7A (p/n 013341) and 2 x 12AT7 tubes (p/n 023531) for the preamplifier.
Seated in the front are:

- jacks: 2 x Ch 1 In, 2 x Ch 2 In

Wat geschiedenis over deze Fender Amp: Onder marketing director Paul Rivera schakelde Fender in 1983 terug over op Blackface modellen. De tweede Blackface Twin Reverb (Twin Reverb II) had een vermogen van 105 watt. In deze periode begon Fender printplaten in plaats van point-to-point montage te gebruiken. Deze versterker werd geproduceerd tot in 1986 en werd in 1987 vervangen door de The Twin, de eerste post-CBS amp (CBS Corporation is een Amerikaans mediaconglomeraat) van Fender. In de beginperiode had The Twin rode knoppen (werd gebouwd tot in 1994), maar deze werden later vervangen door zwarte (dit model ! ).
Deze versterker, de Fender The Twin, is afgeleid van de Fender Twin Reverb dewelke voor het eerst in 1952 werd geïntroduceerd.
Verschillende bekende en iets minder bekende gitaristen hebben deze Fender Amp gebruikt, of gebruiken hem nog: o.a. Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Keith Richards (Rolling Stones), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead), Chuck Berry, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, ...
