As its name suggests, this amp is truly a beast. The V140 is based on the now famous V40 Deluxe, but with 100 watts of headroom, powered by 4 x 6L6 tubes, spring reverb with a longer tank and an extra Mid Kick option. Where the V40 only had a single mid boost, the V140 now has a second gear. Great! Who is the V140 intended for? The V40 Deluxe is more than enough for most players. But guitarists who love extreme dynamic range and pure clean headroom should definitely check out this amplifier. As befits Victory, the V140 The Super Duchess lives somewhere between American Blackface cleans and British Plexi grit, a real "Trans-Atlantic" amplifier!
