Doyle Bramhall II is Eric Clapton's lead guitarist/producer for many years.

A one-of-a-kind Blankenship amplifier made exclusively for the legendary guitarist Doyle Bramhall II (Eric Clapton, Roger Waters, Sheryl Crow) .

This was Doyle's main touring amplifier from 2016 until 2017. Multiple videos around with him talking about and playing this amplifier extensively.

I built three amps for Doyle to try, but only one was a Marshall type amp, the other two were a Fatboy Supreme with Sour Creme, a Tweed Pro looking amp with a 15" speaker and a Twinplex, a 120 watt clean pedal platform amp. You have THE amp. When I first built it, I only had Variplex plates, so that is what I put on it. It was changed later.

Doyle tried all three amps, but he wanted to get away from the tweed look, and the Twinplex was too clean, he couldn't get the "push-back" from it that he wanted. He went out with the amp you have.

I hope you love it, the coupling caps are NOS mustard caps that are ridiculous expensive these days, but really do make a difference. I have been an advocate of using modern caps, but once I tried the mustards, I started accumulating them for Marshall type builds. They are $15-$20 each compared to modern caps that are $1 or less each.
