Very nice high end guitar from the early 60's years of Oscar Teller ( first label ) dynasty.

Mail from Wolfgang Teller ( 12/04/2025 ) " This instrument dates back to the time of my grandfather, Oskar Teller.
He probably died in 1962, but my father, as a young man, had to continue his work in his spirit.
My father had several employees at the time, so the instrument can't be directly attributed to a specific person; it was created in his workshop.
The price in 1964 was 218 DM.
However, since this is still a handmade instrument and not one of those that were later mass-produced" .

Hand built by Oskar Teller in West Germany, 1964. The top is made of fine German spruce, and the back and sides are flamed maple. The guitar is versatile for classical, fingerstyle, bossa nova, etc. The maple produces bright clear or smooth sweet tones, depending on your playing style. The guitar has matured nicely into an expressive instrument with balanced projection, volume, and sustain. The sound is bold, clear, and transparent - an experienced guitar player would appreciate its expressiveness and versatility. A similar new build by Wolfgang Teller would cost you well over £2,500 today. It has been heavily played over the years, but well maintained in nice shape for its age. There are various cosmetic and player wear that are age-appropriate, but nothing that affects build or playability. A great nylon stringed instrument for someone looking for a true vintage player instead of a museum piece. Price reflects its condition and rarity.
