COMBAT is the richly illustrated catalogue published for Belgian artist Koen Vanmechelen’s exhibition held at Landcommanderij Alden Biesen in 2012. The book accompanies a striking dialogue between Vanmechelen’s contemporary works—which often explore themes of identity, nature, and transformation—and the historic grandeur of the medieval Alden Biesen castle.
