Hollywood regency style column, pedestal, Italy, 1970’s. This elegantly designed column has a rougher section between the foot and the base. The column is not made of solid travertine, but of plates of travertine about 3 mm thick. The plates on the foot are mounted on a plaster base, making the column very stable. The plates on the rest of the column are mounted on a hollow frame, so that the weight of the column remains limited. The item is in good condition, there are no breaks or cracks. Measures: The height is 77 cm. At the top the column is 25.5 cm x 25.5 cm. The base is also 25.5 cm x 25.5 cm. The narrowest part of the column is 16 cm x 16 cm.
