Abandoned places expose a dark, dramatic atmosphere with a certain mood of sadness and isolation.
The emptiness and silence never fail to generate haunting visions from the past.
Seeing the images makes the viewer wonder what once was and what happened.

Abandoned locations are taken over by nature which claims back it's place and represent a forgotten era in our fast moving society. Most buildings were an expression of utopia in their time and are clever pieces of architecture. Now, they are decayed and forgotten, past meets future...

This artistic type of photography Is the best hobby ever, it's adventurous, teamwork, storytelling and exciting. Each trip is a surprise, we travel into real time capsules.

Château Sécession was one of the nicest abandoned castles in France.
The hallway featured beautiful hand-painted murals, which were further enhanced by the atmospheric lighting and the breathtaking wrought-iron staircase in the background.

Built in 1750 by a rich merchant. At first it was a house with only 1 floor. Around 1850 his son added pavilions at both sides, changed the facade and built extra floors. Unfortunately the castle didn’t escape WWII and it was occupied and bombarded by the Germans, a side pavilion still remains a ruin. In the 80s the château was sold to an experienced lawyer which allready abandoned it in 1985. Later the castle was burnt down.
This is a unique piece of heritage captured on photo, this photo can never be reproduced again.
