Een collectors item uit 30-03-1977, zo kan je deze vintage Rolex Datejust 1601 uit 1977 gerust noemen! Met 36mm kast geschikt voor zowel dames als heren. Dit wereldberoemde model, een van de langst lopende modellen van Rolex en een echte klassieker. Wordt geleverd inclusief de originele Rolex dozen, Rolex garantiepapieren uit 1977, handleiding en facturen.

Deze Rolex verkeerd zowel optisch al technisch in zeer goede staat. We gaan even per onderdeel toelichten wat dit horloge zo goed maakt;

Deze Rolex is voorzien van hoogwaardige manufacture automatisch uurwerk cal. 1570 welke eveneens in vroege Submariners te vinden is. Het uurwerk ziet er perfect en fris uit en loopt eveneens perfect en zeer nauwkeurig met een gemeten amplitude van 289 graden en binnen huidige (strenge) chronometer normen met een afwijking van zo’n +6 sec./24u gemeten.

Dit horloge komt op de originele goud/stalen Rolex Jubilee band met schakels tot circa 20cm polsen (de band is opvallend groot). De band verkeerd in een opvallend goede staat voor een zogenaamde ‘folded Jubilee’. Eigenlijk zie je aan alles dat dit horloge met zorg is gedragen en zeker niet veel om de pols is geweest.

Dit horloge komt als zeldzame full-set; Rolex doos, Rolex Garantiepapier, boekje en nog enkele accessoires/facturen. Wordt geleverd inclusief garantierapport met 1 jaar garantie.

Released in 1945, the Datejust is Rolex’s longest standing collection and was created to commemorate the company's 40th anniversary. Unlike other Rolex watches, the Datejust was not designed for a specific activity or environment and simply exists as a smart, reliable timepiece.

Pioneering for its time, the Datejust was the first self-winding watch to feature a date display window and also the first Rolex watch to use the Jubilee bracelet design. Combined with the tried and true Oyster case, the Datejust is both understated and elegant and looks at home in both casual and formal settings. The watch is also available in a variety of dial designs, case sizes and metals making it the most versatile series in the Rolex collection.

Having been a permanent fixture in the Rolex collection for over 75 years, the Datejust is ingrained in the public consciousness and for many, represents exactly what Rolex is about. The watch has had its fair share of renowned wearers over the years including Dwight D Eisenhower and Martin Luther King Jr. and has appeared countless times in cinema and TV.

The simplicity of the Datejust is one of its defining characteristics and a big reason why it’s proved so popular over the years. Winding and setting the watch is incredibly easy to do: simply unscrew the crown from the case and turn clockwise to wind the movement. Pulling the crown out one click and turning will set the date and a second click to set the time. Once all three have been done, press the crown in, screw back into the case and put the watch on your wrist and let the self winding movement keep the power topped up whilst you wear it.
