Analog / Temperature to Modbus RTU converter suitable for DIN rail mounting. 4 x Analog / modulating input (0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / PWM) and 4 x temperature input (PT500 or PT1000). Power supply via 'Power over Modbus': both supply voltage and Modbus RTU communication via one RJ45 connector. Power consumption: 1 W (24 VDC).

How does it work?
Sentera devices communicate with each other via the Modbus RTU communication protocol , which uses RS485 technology. In some cases, it is necessary to establish communication with non-Sentera products, such as valve actuators and EC fans. These external devices can be seamlessly connected via the DADCM-44 module. External devices
transmit data via the 4 analog inputs and 4 temperature inputs that this module provides. By default, the analog inputs are configured for 0-10 VDC input signals. However, you can customize the input type via the Modbus RTU protocol. For the four analog inputs, you can choose between 0-10 VDC and 0-20 mA signals . The four temperature inputs use the signal from PT500 or PT1000 probes.
The values of the incoming analog and temperature input signals are converted into values that are stored in eight Modbus input registers , which can be read by a Modbus Master device .About Modbus RTU

The unit is equipped with two RJ45 connectors: one for PoM and one for connecting to other Modbus modules. The unit has three green LED indicators as standard on the housing that indicate power status, data transmission and data reception. Each of the two RJ45 sockets has two green LEDs that flash to indicate active Modbus RTU communication.DIN Rail Enclosure
