This differential pressure switch or pressure switch can easily be set to switch at the desired pressure difference. In this way you can check filters for saturation, or rooms for over- or underpressure, etc.
The switching capacity is 1 A at 250 VAC and the pressure range is between 50 and 500 Pa.

What is a differential pressure switch?
Differential pressure switches detect pressure differences between two specified points. These switches feature two ports that are connected to respective pressure sources, thereby monitoring the pressure difference between them. When a predefined threshold is reached, the internal diaphragm in the switch deflects to establish or break a circuit connection. This change in the circuit triggers an alarm, notifying users of the pressure shift. Users can preset the switching setpoint or adjust it on-site.

One device, many applications
The PSW series differential pressure switches switch fans or pumps on and off and monitor the air filter status in ventilation systems and air handling units. They can also be used in air handling units with heat exchangers to protect the units from freezing or in electric duct heaters from overheating. The differential pressure value is set using the knob under the switch cover.
The series is intended for monitoring overpressure, vacuum and differential pressure of air or other non-flammable, non-aggressive gases . It is particularly suitable for monitoring filters and fans, for protecting air heaters from overheating, for regulating the air flow in ventilation ducts or for frost protection.

They can be combined with PSET-PVC connection nozzles and 2 meter long plastic pipes with mounting screw set.

Unmatched quality
The dry contact output has an average life of 10,000,000 switching operations . The contact ratings are 1 A for resistive loads or 0.4 A for inductive loads (250 VAC). Please note that the differential pressure switch must not be installed upside down at a cut-out pressure of less than 50 Pa!

Easy to install and use
Simply mount the device on a suitable surface. Connector P1 is for the higher pressure or lower vacuum; connector P2 is for lower pressure or higher vacuum. Contact 3 - 2 closes and contact 3 – 1 opens when the pressure difference increases.

Sturdy housing
The plastic cover protects against dust, dirt and water ingress. In combination with the plastic cover, the protection class is IP54 .
