If you are considering switching to structured Power over Modbus (PoM) cabling at some point, this -H version of the RCVC intelligent sensor may be the ideal solution. With both standard 24 VDC and PoM power supply options, the RCVCH multifunctional sensor (Temperature, Humidity and TVOC) features standard terminal blocks with 24 VDC power supply and an analog output, as well as an RJ45 connection. The RJ45 is one of the basic building blocks used to build a Sentera PoM network. It allows you to transport both power and data via Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.

VOCs) are a large group of chemicals found in many of the products we use to build and maintain our homes and buildings. Once inside a building, they are released or evaporate into the indoor air we breathe. Common examples of VOCs found in our daily lives include: benzene, xylene, ethylene glycol, formaldehyde, and methylene chloride. Common sources include paints or varnishes, new carpets, adhesives, cleaning products, smoking, dry cleaning, photocopiers, building materials such as foam, and burning wood. The risk of health problems from inhaling a chemical depends on the exact chemical compound, the concentration, and the length of exposure. Breathing in low levels of VOCs over an extended period of time may increase the risk of health problems for some people, especially those with asthma or those who are particularly sensitive to chemicals. Since VOCs refer to a group of chemicals, each of them has its own toxicity and potential to cause different health effects. The RCVC sensor is available in different versions depending on the required power supply. This RCVCH combination offers the advantage that the sensor can be easily connected with the RJ45 connector (for data and power), and that it still has an analogue output to which you can directly connect an EC fan or valve drive.Additional light sensor

The mounting is designed in such a way that it fits perfectly over a standard 68 mm flush-mounting box. You determine the " proportions " between the different measured values. By this we mean that you determine whether and to what extent the different measured values weigh in the final result. So if you want only the moisture and VOC measurement to be taken into account, but not the temperature, then that is perfectly possible.
