Kanaalsensor CO2 | Temperatuur | vochtigheid, 24 VAC-VDC
Beschrijving
The DSMFG channel sensor, suitable for 24 VAC or VDC power supply, measures CO2, temperature and relative humidity. It has a separate output for each of these measured values. You can use it as a transmitter to pass on the measured values to a building management system, but if you want to control proportionally, you can of course also use it as a controller. The housing is designed in such a way that it fits perfectly over a 68 mm flush-mounted box. This allows the cabling to be neatly concealed. It also has an integrated light sensor and requires 18 to 34 VDC or 15 to 24 VAC power supply, and for the output you can choose between 0 - 10 VDC / 0 - 20 mA / PWM. As always with the new generation of Sentera sensors, this sensor is equipped with Modbus RTU communication.
CO 2 measurements in air ducts People produce CO 2 or carbon dioxidewhen they breathe . This makes the CO 2 concentration a good indicator of the occupancy and activity level in a room. In many applications, CO 2 sensors are used as an indicator of the ventilation requirement . This HVAC transmitter measures temperature, relative humidity and CO 2 in air ducts. The dew point is calculated based on the temperature and humidity . This sensor functions best when mounted in a straight section of the air duct. Avoid installation in turbulent air zones near filters, fans, cooling coils, etc. Position the sensor correctly with respect to the air flow direction. Refer to the mounting instructions for more detailed information.NDIR sensor technology
NDIR or non-dispersive infrared technology is used to measure the CO 2 level. This technology offers low life cycle costs and accurate and stable long-term operation. This sensor has three separate analog outputs . Each of them transmits one of the measured values. For example, output 1 transmits 0 V at 0 °C and 10 V at 50 °C by default. Each output value varies proportionally according to the measured temperature, humidity or CO 2 concentration. The measured temperature is available via output 1, relative humidity via output 2 and CO 2 concentration via output 3.Easy to use!
This sensor does not require any configuration . Once installed, it is ready to use. The default settings are sufficient for most applications. If necessary, the settings can be adjusted via Modbus RTU communication. For example, a different output type can be selected to make the sensor compatible with existing devices: 0-10 VDC / 0-20 mA / 0-100 % PWM. The Modbus register map gives a complete overview of all adjustable settings.
Three-wire connection
This sensor is available in different versions depending on the required power supply. This RSMFG version can be connected with three wires and is suitable for both a 24 VDC and 24 VAC power supply. This is very useful as a replacement in existing installations. The GND terminal of the power supply voltage and the GND terminals of the analog outputs are connected via the printed circuit board. This allows the sensor to be connected with three wires (in the case of a 24 VAC power supply it MUST of course be connected with three wires).
Self-calibrating to compensate for sensor drift
The self-calibrating ABC algorithm is enabled by default. This algorithm is designed to be used in applications where the CO 2 concentration will drop to outdoor ambient conditions (400 ppm) at least once (15 minutes) in a 7 day period, which typically occurs during periods of unoccupied space. The sensor will reach its maximum accuracy after 25 hours of continuous operation provided it has been exposed to ambient air reference levels of 400 ppm ± 10 ppm CO 2 .
Air ducts
The housing is optimized for CO 2 measurements in air ducts . It offers IP54 protection against the ingress of dust and moisture. The sensor element is integrated into the probe of the duct sensor. This probe is provided with an opening so that there is direct contact between the air flow and the sensor element. The sensor probe offers IP20 protection.
