The OCTHM combined temperature and humidity sensor for wet rooms combines temperature and relative humidity and also measures ambient light. Based on temperature and humidity, its algorithm determines how the output is controlled. They are equipped with Power over Modbus and all parameters are accessible via Modbus RTU. They can be directly connected to a Sentera frequency converter so that it controls the correct speed of your AC fan according to the set temperature and/or humidity range. And thanks to their Modbus communication, they can also be part of a network of sensors and controls or of your building management system.

Temperature and humidity measurement in 1 sensor with smart algorithm
These sensors measure both temperature and relative humidity. Based on both measured values, one intelligent control signal is calculated. In addition, the dew point and light intensity can also be read by your building management system or by our SenteraWeb cloud for further processing.POM nutritionThe power supply and data of this version are via a single RJ45 connection. There is no analogue output. This makes this sensor easy to connect and cheap to buy . Ideal as part of a network or to control a frequency converter or our RTVS position controller .Additional light sensorThe Sentera IP65 sensors for demanding environments are already equipped with a light sensor that measures the ambient light. The measured values are also stored in a Modbus register so that they are available via Modbus RTU. And in future, or existing Modbus-compatible, applications you will even be able to adapt the algorithm according to the ambient light . IP65 surface mountedThe housing is made of high quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is very tough and offers good protection against impact. It offers IP65 protection against dust and water ingress. Each sensor is calibrated and tested in our factory. We use high quality sensor elements and components . This ensures the long-term stability and accuracy of this HVAC transmitter. To ensure optimum performance (temperature and humidity measurement), it should be protected from direct sunlight.
Everything in proportion
You determine the "proportions" between the different measured values. By this we mean that you determine whether and to what extent the different measured values weigh in the final result. In the instruction video below you can see how this works. You can also switch them off. So if you want, for example, only the humidity measurement to be taken into account, but not the temperature, then that is perfectly possible.
