If you are considering switching to structured Power over Modbus (PoM) cabling at some point, this -H version of the RSTH sensor may be the ideal solution. With both standard 24 VDC and PoM power supply options, the RSTHH multifunctional sensor (Temperature and relative humidity) features standard terminal blocks with 24 VDC power supply and an analog output, as well as an RJ45 connection. The RJ45 is one of the basic building blocks used to build a Sentera PoM network. It allows you to transport both power and data via Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.

Indoor air quality based on temperature and humidity
Temperature and humidity measurement together in 1 sensor. The most important comfort parameters for a pleasant feeling indoors are temperature and relative humidity. This sensor measures both parameters and has a separate output for each of these values. You could use one of these outputs to control an EC fan, a control valve or a speed controller for AC fans. But you can also send multiple outputs to your air handling unit or third party external controller.POM power supply and 24 VDC power supply
The RSTH sensor is available in different versions depending on the required power supply. This RSTHH combination offers the advantage that the sensor can be easily connected with the RJ45 connector (for data and power), and that it still has an analogue output to which you can directly connect an EC fan or valve drive.Additional light sensor
The Sentera room sensors are already equipped with a light sensor that measures the ambient light. You can save and retrieve the measured values. And in later, or existing Modbus-compatible, applications you will even be able to adapt the algorithm as a function of the ambient light .Permanent visual control
Thanks to the integrated and dimmable LEDs, you can see at a glance whether the measured value is acceptable, or whether it is in the warning zone or even in the danger zone . Not every situation is the same, so you determine the values at which the LEDs change colour.Smart constructionThe RSxxx series are suitable for surface mounting. But in a smart way. The mounting is designed in such a way that it fits perfectly over a standard 68 mm flush-mounting box. And the cable passage is at the back, so you can work perfectly with flush-mounted pipes.Adjustable range per measurement value
For both temperature and relative humidity you can determine the range within which the output signal moves proportionally. This signal can then be used as a signal input for an air handling unit or controller.
