Thanks to its platinum PT1000 sensor element, the TUTSN guarantees stable temperature measurement in air ducts. The sensor element is housed in a 25 cm plastic probe. These temperature probes have a positive temperature coefficient: when the temperature increases, the resistance increases. They are easy to install and are compatible with PT1000 compatible controllers.
How does it work?This temperature probe measures the ambient temperature via a PT1000 platinum element. This sensor element has an electrical resistance of 1000 ohms at 0 ° C. And a positive temperature coefficient. This means that the resistance increases as the ambient temperature increases. Any device with an input for 'PT1000 passive temperature sensors' can read out the measured temperature. How to connect?
The sensor element is built into a plastic housing. The connection wires have a length of 1 m (2 x 0.5 mm²). If necessary, they can be extended.
