If you are considering switching to structured Power over Modbus (PoM) cabling at some point, this -H version of the RCMF sensor may be the ideal solution. With both standard 24 VDC and PoM power supply options, the RCMFH multifunctional sensor (CO2, temperature and humidity) has standard terminal blocks with 24 VDC power supply and an analogue output, but also an RJ45 connection. The RJ45 is one of the basic building blocks with which a Sentera PoM network is built. It allows you to transport both power and data via Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.

Like all intelligent room sensors from Sentera, it is equipped with a built-in temperature and relative humidity sensor. But it also has a built-in NDIR CO2 sensor module. The RCMF sensor is available in different versions depending on the required power supply. This RCMFH combination offers the advantage that the sensor can be easily connected with the RJ45 connector (for data and power), and that it still has an analogue output to which you can directly connect an EC fan or valve drive.Additional light sensor
The Sentera room sensors are already equipped with a light sensor that measures the ambient light. You can save and retrieve the measured values. And in later, or existing Modbus-compatible, applications you will even be able to adapt the algorithm according to the ambient light .Permanent visual control
Thanks to the integrated and dimmable LEDs, you can see at a glance whether the measured value is acceptable, or whether it is in the warning zone or even in the danger zone . Not every situation is the same, so you determine the values at which the LEDs change colour.Smart constructionThe RCxxx series are suitable for surface mounting. But in a smart way. The mounting is designed in such a way that it fits perfectly over a standard 68 mm flush-mounting box. And the cable passage is at the back, so you can work perfectly with flush-mounted pipes. You determine the " proportions " between the different measured values. By this we mean that you determine whether and to what extent the different measured values weigh in the final result. In this instruction video you can see how that works. You can also switch them off. So if you want, for example, only the humidity measurement and CO2 to be taken into account, but not the temperature, then that is perfectly possible.
