Universele snelheidsregelaar voor EC ventilatoren | Wifi
Beschrijving
HVAC controller with two 0-10 Volt outputs to control EC fans. Two tacho inputs allow feedback from the EC fans. HVAC sensors or a potentiometer can be connected via Modbus RTU communication or via two analog inputs. This controller has an integrated 24 VDC power supply to power external HVAC sensors or potentiometers. The required supply voltage is in the range of 85 - 305 VAC. Application specific firmware is required. This firmware can be downloaded via HVACWeb. This can be done via the built-in Internet Gateway that connects to the HVACWeb Cloud service via Wifi.
Application specific firmwareECMF8 controllers require application specific firmware. Typically they are used to control the fan speed based on data from connected sensors or potentiometers. Application specific firmware can be downloaded via HVACWeb - your personal HVAC Cloud platform. This controller has a built-in Gateway that can be connected to HVACWeb via Wifi to download this application specific firmware. HVACWeb offers many additional features via the Cloud including calendar functions, data logging, and messaging service.
Various functionalities
We offer a number of specific firmware versions for typical HVAC applications (e.g. destratification control with EC fans). First select the desired functionality via the solutions page of our website and then download the application specific firmware. If necessary, it is possible to adjust the settings via the Modbus Holding registers. No programming required!Inputs and outputs
This controller has two analog outputs for controlling EC fans. The tacho signal of the EC fans (if present) can be read out to check the status of the fans and to monitor the fan speed. External HVAC sensors or potentiometers can be connected via Modbus RTU or via the analog inputs.
Simple wiring
To simplify the wiring of external devices, 24 Volt power is available via the RJ45 connector. The 24 Volt power and Modbus communication can be combined via one cable - we call this Power over Modbus or PoM. The type of analog input or output and all other settings can be adjusted via the Modbus Holding registers.
Connecting sensors or potentiometers
External HVAC sensors or potentiometers can be connected to the ECMF8 via Modbus RTU or via the analog inputs. To simplify the wiring of the external devices, 24 Volt power is available via the RJ45 connector. The 24 Volt power and Modbus communication can be distributed via a single cable - we call this Power over Modbus or PoM. All settings can be adjusted via the Modbus Holding registers.
IP54 Wall Mountable Enclosure
This fan speed controller can be mounted on a wall or panel. Make sure that the controller can cool sufficiently. Preferably install it in a cool place, preferably not in direct sunlight. The enclosure is made of high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is flame retardant, very strong and offers good protection against shocks. It offers IP54 protection against dust and water ingress.
