HVAC controller with two 0-10 Volt outputs to control EC fans. Two tacho inputs allow feedback from the EC fans. HVAC sensors or a potentiometer can be connected via Modbus RTU communication or via two analog inputs. This controller has an integrated 24 VDC power supply to power external HVAC sensors or potentiometers. The required supply voltage is in the range of 85 - 305 VAC. Application specific firmware is required. This firmware can be downloaded via HVACWeb. An optional internet gateway is required to connect this controller to HVACWeb.

Application specific firmware
ECMF8 controllers require application specific firmware. This firmware can be downloaded via HVACWeb - your personal HVAC Cloud platform. This controller requires a separate internet gateway to connect to HVACWeb for the firmware download. Once the firmware is downloaded it is possible to use this controller stand alone or to keep it connected to HVACWeb.

Different functionalities
We offer a number of specific firmware versions for typical HVAC applications (e.g. destratification control with EC fans). First select the desired functionality via the solutions page of our website and then download the application specific firmware. If necessary it is possible to adjust the settings via the Modbus Holding registers. No programming required!

Simple wiring
To simplify the wiring of the external devices, 24 Volt power is available via the RJ45 connection. The 24 Volt power and Modbus communication can be combined via one cable - we call this Power over Modbus or PoM. The type of analog input or output and all other settings can be adjusted via the Modbus Holding registers.Connecting sensors or potentiometers

IP54 enclosure for wall mounting
This fan speed controller can be mounted on a wall or panel. Make sure that the controller can cool sufficiently. Preferably install it in a cool place, preferably not in direct sunlight. The housing is made of high-quality r-ABS VO (UL94) plastic. This material is flame retardant, very strong and offers good protection against shocks. It offers IP54 protection against dust and water ingress.
