Gotcha! is a Dutch funk band founded in Haarlem in 1988. In 1991, they released their debut album Words and Music from the Lowlands, which included the singles "Da 10 Is Mightier Than Da Sword" and  "Mathilda (Da Wicked Witch). Their music blends sixties trip rock with funk and hip-hop, and is influenced by George Clinton, who also performs on the track "(Free To) Feel Free".

Highly recommended for fans of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Faith No More, Urban Dance Squad, 24-7 Spyz, and of course P-Funk!

Words and Music from da Lowlands is available as a 35th anniversary edition on gold marble vinyl and includes an insert.
