From the mid sixties onwards, the Belgian painter Fred Bervoets (°1942) has been developing a highly personal breed of neo-expressionism. Since the early nineties, however, his work has been dominated by etchings that are totally unorthodox, both in subject and in technique. This book offers an overview of all Bervoet's monumental graphic works between 1990 and 2010, complemented with a selection from his huge output of smaller works. This is a 'picture book' in the full sense of the term.
