Kaivalya Gita Absolute Understanding - Volume 1 - Dr. Vijai S. Shankar - Advaita Publications - 9780954529819 - 2dehands - Als Nieuw - Paperback - The Kaivalya Gita refers to the teachings within the Kaivalya Upanishad, a Hindu scripture focused on Kaivalya, the ultimate spiritual liberation or perfect aloneness (detachment of soul from matter). It's a guide to realizing the illusory nature of the world, attained through deep knowledge, meditation on Shiva and Brahman, and understanding the self as pure consciousness, leading to freedom from the cycle of rebirth (samsara). While distinct, it echoes themes of the Bhagavad Gita, emphasizing realization of the Absolute Reality (Brahman).
