Prachtige Triumph TR3A van 1959. Deze TR3 is een zeer nette auto. De auto is vanaf eind jaren 80 in het bezit geweest van de laatste eigenaar. Het is een oudere restauratie maar nog steeds in zeer goede staat. Het lakwerk is netjes en strak, met wat craquelé op de achterschermen en achterkant, noem het patina , niets vreemds voor een auto van ‘59. Geen roest is er te vinden op deze bijzondere rijdersauto . De techniek van deze Triumph is uitermate bijzonder . De TR is uitgerust met zeer interessante en gewilde upgrades. Zo is de motor opgeboord naar 89 mm en heeft die een 2300 motor met bijbehorend vermogen. De versnellingsbak is uitgerust met overdrive op 2,3 en 4. Er is een rack & pimion stuurhuis conversie, modern shroeffilter , aluminium radiateur, high torque startmotor, olie keerring conversie, wisselstroom dynamo met narrow velt conversie , rvs uitlaat, rvs remzuigers, Kenlowe koelvin met override schakelaar enz. gemonteerd ,teveel om op te noemen. De TR techniek is werkelijk fenomenaal, zo betrouwbaar wil iedereen rondrijden.
Het interieur is bijzonder netjes, de originele lederen stoelen zijn opnieuw bekleed en in perfecte staat. De tapijtset is als nieuw. De softtop is gloednieuw en de zijruiten zijn in zeer nette staat. Van onder is het een zeer eerlijke en harde, solide TR3A, het chassis is hard en schadevrij. Onder de motorkap is alles zeer netjes en fris, een prachtig lopende, snelle 2300 motor en perfect schakelende overdrive versnellingsbak. Wat een genot om te rijden is deze 2.3 liter 4 cilinder, zeer soepel en krachtig, het maximale koppel is altijd beschikbaar. De Triumph staat op prachtige Panasport wielen met goede banden. Bij de auto is een mooie map met facturen vanaf eind jaren 80’tot nu. De auto heeft een Nederlands kenteken, eventuele benodigde export papieren zijn bij ons altijd bij de prijs inbegrepen.
In deze prijsklasse zijn TR3’s nagenoeg onvindbaar.

A magnificent 1959 Triumph TR3A. This TR3 is a very well-maintained car; it has been in the possession of its last owner since the late 1980s. Although it underwent an older restoration, it remains in excellent condition. The paintwork is neat and smooth, featuring some craquelé on the rear fenders and tail—call it patina—which is perfectly normal for a car from 1959. There is absolutely no rust to be found on this exceptional driver's car. The mechanical setup of this Triumph is truly remarkable. The TR is equipped with highly desirable upgrades: the engine has been bored out to 89 mm, effectively creating a 2300cc unit with the corresponding power output. The gearbox features overdrive on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gears. It has also been fitted with a rack-and-pinion steering conversion, a modern spin-on oil filter, an aluminum radiator, a high-torque starter motor, an oil seal conversion, an alternator with a narrow-belt conversion, a stainless steel exhaust, stainless steel brake pistons, a Kenlowe cooling fan with an override switch, and much more—too many upgrades to list. The mechanical performance is truly phenomenal; this is the kind of reliability every enthusiast dreams of. The interior is exceptionally tidy; the original leather seats have been reupholstered and are in perfect condition, and the carpeting is like new. The soft top is brand new, and the side screens are in excellent shape. Underneath, it is a very honest, solid TR3A with a sound, damage-free chassis. The engine bay is clean and fresh, housing a beautifully running, fast 2300cc engine and a gearbox with an overdrive that shifts perfectly. This 2.3-liter 4-cylinder engine is a joy to drive—very smooth and powerful, with maximum torque always available. The Triumph sits on beautiful Panasport wheels fitted with good tires. The car comes with a nice folder with all invoices from the eighties till now. The car has Dutch registration; any necessary export documents are always included in the price.
TR3s are virtually impossible to find in this price range.
