The Audi S3 8L front intercooler kit was adapted directly to the vehicle. This makes installation quick and easy. The aluminum tubes have an outside diameter of ø 60mm. The intercooler kit is installed in the front between the turbocharger and the intake manifold . It is suitable for the vehicles specified above. The goal of an intercooler is to cool down the air heated by the turbocharger. By cooling down the compressed air, more air mass enters the combustion chamber with the same volume and more fuel can be burned, thereby increasing performance and efficiency. The lower the charge air, the lower the thermal load on the engine and the turbocharger because it requires less speed for the same air mass. Fuel consumption is also reduced and the engine has slightly better emissions values, provided the control unit is adapted to this. It is important to ensure that the intercooler gets as much wind as possible. The LLK kit offered here is made entirely of aluminum with cast boxes, has 5 attachment points and a Bar`n Plate net. A performance of up to approx. 450 HP is possible. Ideal for motorsport and tuning. Every intercooler is tested up to 5 bar before delivery.
