De Dreambox 500S is veruit de beste FTA-ontvanger op de markt. Betaalbaar in vergelijking met de DM7000, maar met alle bevestigingen. Deze FTA-box is een klasse apart. Stelt u zich eens voor: volledige EPG-functionaliteit voor alle netwerken, geen enkele andere FTA- ontvanger kan u dat bieden! Je kunt maximaal 4 verschillende LNB's aansluiten op een 4- wegschakelaar en één uitgang op de ontvanger.

De Dreambox 500 begrijpt elk individueel LNB-signaal en downloadt alle kanalen voor die satelliet. Als één LNB bijvoorbeeld zou verwijzen naar Dish Network, zou u LNB 1 instellen om alle 300 DishNet-stations (PPV, sport, alles) te downloaden. Hierdoor worden de kanalen 1 - 300 op het systeem gevuld. Als LNB 2 naar een ander satellietbedrijf zou wijzen, zou u LNB 2 kunnen instellen om de kanalen 301 - 600 te downloaden. Dit kan doorgaan voor maximaal 4 verschillende satellietsignalen. Potentieel, met voldoende schotels, zou je van kanaal 1 - 1200 kunnen overschakelen, zonder stations te missen!! DreamBox DM500S
