Denon dp-2000:
It is an excellent turntable. I have no idea why Denon gave it a lower model number than the DP-3000, because DP-2000 is essentially the same as DP-3000, but with the quartz lock circuitry borrowed from the DP-6000. Amazing build quality, the chassis is a thick and nicely ribbed aluminium casting, the motor is large, powerful and silent in operation. The impressive main bearing is 10mm in diameter. Mostly discrete circuitry, the only IC was made by Siemens and is still available as new old stock. The PCBs easily come out of the chassis for repairs.
