Age of the set: 6 months, as a new one ...
Reason for sale: I change the color of my horns; I prefer to resell the coherent whole and have it re-made another pair ...
(I sell them at cost price, 500 € just for the special painting and six months of patience for the complete realization of the project ...)

Horns made to measure by a Craftsman cabinetmaker and which integrates the following technologies:
- General profile type IWATA, at the 1/6 scale, ie 154mm,
- Transition round-square (from the throat to the mouth) continuous and without rupture of the throat to the mouth; Radius 12.7mm to the throat up to 5mm radius to the mouth,
- Extensions of horizontal profiles up to 360° without any break in expansion.
- Wood solid Lowan multiplex.

Horns + BMS 4540ND drivers, together referred to hereinafter as "tweeter".
A very fine and very defined tweeter, never aggressive, it rises in the acute well beyond the limits of the audible.
A magnificent sound scene, with a perfectly stepped depth from the foreground to far behind.
This tweeter is ideal for your treeble voice with a full-range channel (two-way system with connection to 6-8 KHz) or a two-inch horn (three-way system with connection to 4-8 KHz).

Minimum crossing frequency recommended
For pair BMS 4540ND-horn matched:
2,500 Hz at 24 dB/octave,
3,500 Hz at 18 dB/octave,
4.000 Hz at 12 dB/octave.
Optimal result obtained at 4,000 Hz and 18 dB/octave.

90° from 2KHz to 15 KHz at -5 dB,
60° from 2KHz to 20KHz at -3dB.

Standardized dispersion: 120° horizontal,
60° vertical.
However, extensions of the horizontal expansion carry the dispersion at 180° with an attenuation of the signal of only 9 decibels (ie an angle where the other horns are usually at 20 decibels of attenuation).
The extensions thus mechanically help the front of the sound wave to flourish backwards and this is the "secret" of a successful spatialization.

Un tweeter très fin et très définis, jamais agressif, il monte dans l’aigu bien au-delà des limites de l’audible.
Une scène sonore magnifique, avec une profondeur parfaitement étagée de l’avant plan jusque loin derrière.
Ce tweeter est idéal pour gérer votre voie aiguë en accompagnement d’une voie full-range (système deux voies avec raccordement vers 6-8 KHz) ou d’un pavillon deux pouces (système trois voies avec raccordement vers 4-8 KHz).
