Early C20th Chinese lacquer low 'coffee or Chinese tea' table with decorative carved soap-stone top. Black and gold 18th century design Chinese coffee table, featuring colourful courtesan-style figures in a landscape, the inset panel top with applied carved soapstone decoration. Raised on square-section shaped legs with gilded decoration to frame, the top with inset glass panel.
Great decorative table to complement a period room setting , whilst a highly useful, functional and stylish piece of furniture. Quite some chips to lacquer and wear commensurate with age and use, but overall a great decorative statement.
Sold as seen. Collect from Wenduine, Belgium or Broadstairs, UK.
Delivery by DPD (Belgium only) available for an extra €70 (£60), including protecting framework.
